Hi everyone,
To create a new character, you need to follow these steps.
1) Go to the template new character sheet and follow the instructions. You will need to add a name, answer some questions, and then decide what experience your character has - are they more Parliamentary, media focused, or policy focused?
2) Once you have done this and saved a copy, post a new thread in this forum with the name of your character, and link to that Google sheet.
3) If you want, add more detail about your character! What did they study, what has their life been?
That's it! Check out the tab above on how to get involved as a new character for what to do next.

Scandals
Every character has a scandal. No one is squeaky clean. But these things can be minor inconveniences.
In your character sheet, do not put down what your scandal is. Just the severity. That much will be shared with others ("there's something a bit off about him"), but the detail will only be with the AVs.
Instead, use this google form (now in the character sheet) - https://goo.gl/forms/USQKxjtxRfbpTSol2
Briefly, the sorts of levels of severity you'd be looking at for each are:
- Level 1 - you had a minor fling years ago that was a little dodgy, your other half knows or already left you.
- Level 2 - you have recently had - or are still having - a relationship with someone other than your partner. They don't know.
- Level 3 - as level 2, but it's a bit weird (but still legal).
- Level 4 - minor criminal offence in your past (i.e. drugs), minor expenses fraud
- Level 5 - activity bordering on the criminal or really quite awful, but you could just about keep your job if necessary.

Please could I make the point that the word "Noe" does not exist, and never has in the context used on the forms. It's "Aye" and "No".
In Norwegian, it means "something", for those who are interested.

Anthony "Tony" Brearley
Labour MP for Leeds Central (elected 1987)
Parliamentary Experience: 10
Media Experience: 7
Policy Experience: 6
A member of Labour's Callaghan-inspired old guard, and a believer in the Christian Trade Unionist basis for the Labour Party, known for matching the stereotype of the plain-speaking Yorkshireman. Grew up in rural Yorkshire and moved to Leeds as a young man, finding himself employed as a blue-collar factory worker during the unrest of the 1980s.
Rose to local prominence as a trade unionist, and later as a local councillor, focused on representing his working class constituents. At the ripe old age of 56, Brearley stands shoulder to shoulder with those who believe in a common sense, patriotic social positions, but who can't afford the inequality-promoting economic policies of the Tories.
