Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

It is great to be here along with fellow patriots, unionists, and Conservative Party members and volunteers. Today, we are gathered here to proudly announce our campaign to fight for Conservative Party and Britain’s soul. There is no fight more important than this one, we can have debates about economics, taxes and et cetera and those touch people’s wallets and are certainly essential debates but for me and for you, I hope, the soul of the country, what we represent as a party and country is the most important. Our traditions, our morals, and what we are as a country always comes first. Right now, I believe Conservative Party is facing an existential battle between so-called modernists who want us to abandon our soul, our morals to supposedly gain approval of the metropolitan London elite and us traditionalists who value morals, traditions and the soul of the country and party more than anything. Do not get me wrong, those who are against us want to represent this fight as those who have stayed in the past versus those who can win and that my friends is the fallacy they want us to believe in. That they can win and we can not, I want to say that is absolutely wrong. If we abandon our core principles to gain approval of the elite, we will be abandoning our core supporters who support our party because they believe in our commitment to god, the Queen and the country, and I can assure everyone without our core supporters supporting us, we can not and will not win any election, none whatsoever.

Now, enough about how to lose an election, this is about how to win one. We need to gain voters, that is obvious but how, ladies and gentlemen there are millions of Labour voters in this country that are bothered with Labour’s corruption, financial and moral ones. They are bothered with their attempt to appoint their cronies, they are bothered with their failed promises and they are bothered with their attempts to shove down a perverted ideology down our throat such as repeal of Section 28. Scottish Labour already have done it and they want to do the same in the rest of the United Kingdom but these voters are also concerned about public services, education, healthcare, and cost of living. As the Conservative Party we have failed them. We believed that the same tired lines of tax cuts would be enough, we believed that asking rhetorical questions would be enough but it is not. This country has had enough with immigration, it is full and it can not take it anymore and the best we could have offered was a silly rhetorical question. We need to set up a voluntary repatriation scheme, because right now what we have here in Britain fails us and the immigrants as well. We need to relieve pressure from the public services, the housing stock and the NHS. Some parts of our party is vigorously opposed to it and we have to change that before we go back to the people to win their votes.

Another issue that will help us, would be to provide stability in terms of the pound. Labour have dropped their plans to switch to Euro for good and now Conservative Party is on verge giving it a kiss of life and we have to fight against this kiss of life. Conservative Party must stop any attempt that might lead to accepting Euro as currency and leaving us dependent on Eurocrats, we can not let destiny of this country to be in the hands of the others and we can not let Euro destroy communities once again. In 1992, ERM was pegged to German Mark and it destroyed communities, families because we couldn’t control our destiny, now Euro is biased for Germany and once again not reflective of any other country and we are risking another 1992 and another devastation if we were to allow the Pound. This is what we are risking and we can not allow that. We must group up and fight up against this notion that a referendum on Euro is the answer. The Euro is dead and it must stay that way.

Conservative Party’s soul is at stake and this means Britain’s soul is at stake as well. We have to group up, add new people to our movement and our party, we have to pressure Westminster Tories and we have to ensure the best of the best are selected as our representatives in the Party from the smallest position to members of Parliament. This group’s intention is to preserve Conservative Party within and reform it in ways to win new voters and stand up for core voters and values. The fight has already started and we are already one step behind, Campaign for Patriotic Unionism will close this gap, if we can make this group a successful one and in order to do that I need your help, I need you to join our group, convince your friends, family and neighbours to join it and join the Conservative Party. [b]We have to rebuild our party and I am willing to fight the good fight but I can not do it without you.

Okay some housekeeping first: your whole speech can't be a soundbyte. We are more lenient on speech soundbytes than PCs, but it should be noted that the more you put in bold, the flatter the bold falls. We want one or two (three at a stretch) really stand-out phrases highlighted in bold, not paragraphs, not a sentence from every paragraph. Bolded sections are the things you want showing up on nightly news. When the whole story is about 45 seconds, you aren't getting this much in there.

Now, the speech itself was pretty good. You set out your stall, you say why it matters, you show us a nice little logo. But here's the fact: you may have won 47% of the vote in the leadership election, but believe me when I say that a significant majority of that support voted for you because they didn't like Croft. Even so, they love the Conservative Party (which is why they paid for a membership) and are fiercely defensive about it. In the eyes of those who are seeing this, on the whole, you are endangering their party's chances at government and that does not go over well.

There is, however, a portion of Tories who are thinking exactly what you're thinking. The Tory brass has become soft, they need bucking up, cleaning up, and kicking out. Those people, however small a minority they may be, rally behind this and, lucky you, they are all members of the Monday Club which, in other places, you have managed to successfully grow. Those who are not so interested in out-and-out rebellion against the leader are wary, but your core supporters are energized.

Basically, the pros and cons balance out all together, and you neither gain nor lose any XP. Do be careful, though, because if you push it too far, the more reasonably-minded and patient Conservatives, even in the Monday Club, may abandon you in droves, like rats from a sinking ship.
