Scandals

Post by Sir Dylan Macmillan »

In exchange for bonus XP you can now submit a pre-round scandal (you can submit multiple scandals if you really want to but you get no bonus XP< it's all downside. Scandals range in severity from 1 to 5, 1 being the lowest scandal with the least reward and 5 being the highest scandal with the most reward. You will also be given the opportunity to explain your scandal, this is optional but if you leave it blank the admins will write in an appropriate level of scandal ourselves when it is time to disclose. If you write a really good explanation bonus xp is on the table.

Scandals can be discovered in multiple different ways. If you have a lead the Chief Whip can do some manual digging and, if the dice and admins are kind to you, can find out about the scandals themselves. However the most common way for scandals to be revealed are through the weekly dice rolls which is why the form asks you to name two numbers, one between 1 and 50 and one between 1 and 100. Once a week (to match up with every IG quarter) the admins will roll two dice, a D50 and a D100. If your number between 1 and 50 comes up your scandal will find itself neatly in the in-tray of the Chief Whip of your party, if your number between 1 and 100 comes up your scandal will find itself on fire and in the in-tray of a very hungry journalist for a newspaper that you do not get on with. With all that said, please see below the Scandal Form for the 2019 round!
